Electrical heating pads are extensively used for surface heating of ESP & Bag-Filter Hoppers. The walls of hopper are t o b e k e p t a t e l e v a t e d temperature to prevent the deposition of dust on the inner surface of the hopper. The nichrome wire heating elements are uniformly stitched and sandwitched between two layers of glass fiber carrier cloth. T h r e e m e t e r l o n g h e a t resistance fiber glass insulated copper wire cold leads are take out from one side of the pads. Eyelets are provided all over perifery at an approximate pitch of 200mm. M10 studs (to be welded on hopper surface) with nut & washer are provided for fixing the heating pads over the hopper.The pads offer low cost, easy to install solution for hopper heating
